WELCOME TO OLIN AND HARLIE
About Olin and Harlie
The concept of Olin and Harlie was created in 2014.
Anthony and Jade are the co-founders of Olin and Harlie, and this is their shared business.

A history from Anthony
When I met Jade, she had an adorable dog called Charlie who was about 8 years old at the time. He was a tri-coloured Jack Russell / Beagle cross, and he had a very loving and calm nature. He used to come to the pub with us, wear sunglasses and caps and be the centre of attention. He was also a very cuddly boy who would love to be on the sofa at the end of the day asleep on Jade. After a bit of time together and future plans made for life, we decided to get a second dog, so Charlie had a friend.
Colin was a rescue from a lady who had looked for a companion but decided a puppy was too much. We got Colin at 5 months old, and he needed some work!! He hadn’t been taught the basic of how to eat and socialise, he had only been fed with treats (not dinner times) and was very bad with other dogs. A bit of training and some new routines taught him to be a well-behaved chap, but also, he learnt a lot from Charlie who was very patient with him.
In 2014 when Colin had been with us for a bit of time, it seems cliche, but I had a dream overnight of this exciting new venture. Bespoke wooden dog beds and all of the options and extras and possibilities came to mind, so much so that I had to write them all down as soon as I woke up. Having already built one company in Sash Window Repairs for Grade II listed buildings, I had a steppingstone of what to do. I spent the morning writing down a business plan and all of the ideas that had sprung to mind.
As you are all well aware life postpones plans most of the time and after several major events such as, wedding, house move and a lovely baby daughter we were then able to give Olin and Harlie the time it deserved to launch it properly.
We have now said a loving goodbye to Charlie, our dearest old friend and he’s left the promotion and Instagram account to Colin. Don’t worry though, Colin has two other friends to help him, Fred, a small black, bat eared Romanian rescue and Rexford, a ‘Disney eyed’ gun dog to assist with sales! If you see us on a show, we will normally have one of the gang with us for the day.
We do hope you love the dog beds we have taken hours designing and perfecting. We would be delighted to hear positive or negative feedback to help us improve our products or services. We would also be delighted to see you at one of the events we show on, please bring your dogs so we can meet them and introduce them to our bespoke range. If your dog is photogenetic we’d love to have a photo for our social media stories.
